Hey! I'm John – also known as The Foodie Fisherman. I was born and raised in the wee village of Broughshane, just outside Ballymena. By trade, I’m a welder fabricator, but my heart’s always been in two places – out by the water with a fishing rod, and in a kitchen with something sizzling on the pan.

Fishing’s been part of my life since I was young – my Granda taught me everything I know, and it’s stuck with me ever since. Over the years, my love for food grew alongside it. I started documenting my food journey just for fun, and now I’m sharing my foodie finds on TikTok to inspire others, whether they’re foodie fanatics or just looking for a good feed.

I’m lucky to have the support of my fiancée, Kerri, who makes the odd appearance in my content. We’ve just bought our first home together, which has been a big milestone for us – and now we’re planning our dream destination wedding in Cyprus!
